Travel Awards to attend the 5th International Conference on Plant Vascular Biology, to be held June 17-20, 2019 in Asilomar, California.

Our aim is to increase attendance of early-career scientists by providing travel funds for those in financial need; increasing the participation of underrepresented minorities and women among Plant Vascular Biology attendees is another important goal. Undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs, pre-tenure faculty, and professionals beginning their careers are strongly encouraged to apply. Awards may range from $500 to $1,550 and will mostly go to participants from U.S. institutions, but also to attendees from outside the U.S.

The deadline for applications is February 28, 2019. Please, visit the Travel Award website  at PVB2019.org for detailed information and application submission.

The funds for the travel awards are provided by the U.S. National Science Foundation, Division of Integrative Organismal Systems, and the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI) U.S. Department of Agriculture.
